I am a mom of two who is consumed with unpacking the mysteries of the miniature humans in my life. I have been where you are. TWICE. I trialled allll the sleep advice and techniques boasted out there (blindly) and spent hundreds of hours in a research rabbit hole, trying to crack this mystery of sleep. And I have learned a little something along the way. I want to save you the headache and pass on to you everything I have uncovered through research, experience, and supporting dozens of families in their own personal sleep journeys. But don't worry, there's nothing prescriptive about it - I value your unique parenting style and the special bond that you have with your baby.

When not wearing my mom-hat, I am a primate-loving, evolutionary-biology-teaching, neuroscience-studying, behaviour-examining, globe-trotting PhD who loves good research and is on a personal quest to understand why it is we do what we do. What is the basis of our human behavioural repertoire? And what could be more enigmatic in this realm than sleep?
